Blog

Starting over

For years this domain pointed at a single hand-written HTML page. It did its job — a name, a face, a way to say hello — but it had no room to grow. Every time I thought about publishing something, the friction of where would it even go? won.

So I rebuilt it from scratch. The idea is simple: one feed, newest first, mixing everything I want to put into the world.

What lives here

  • Writing — longer thoughts, worked out in full.
  • Links — things worth passing on, with a note on why.
  • Photos — pictures I’ve taken, gathered into albums.
  • Talks — slides from things I’ve presented.

It’s all one stream on the front page, and each kind also has its own corner if you want to go deeper.

Why one feed

I’ve always liked sites that feel like a single mind thinking out loud rather than a content marketing funnel. A blog post and a half-formed link and a photograph from a trip are all me, on the same week, and it feels honest to let them sit next to each other.

The best personal sites read like a person, not a product.

More soon. For now, it’s good to have a place to put things again.
